2η Τρίτη του μήνα Ελληνόφωνη Συνάντηση.
𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Toastmasters Academy was created in 2017 out of the need to improve non native Greek and English speakers' public speaking skills. Thus it holds meetings in English and in Greek.
As Toastmasters International we accommodate leadership skills through service to our local and Toastmasters community.
Το Toastmasters Academy δημιουργήθηκε το 2017 λόγω της ανάγκης βελτίωσης των δεξιοτήτων δημόσιας ομιλίας για ελληνόφωνους και αγγλόφωνους με Ελληνικά και Αγγλικά ως ξένη γλωσσα. Ως εκ τούτου, πραγματοποιεί συναντήσεις στα αγγλικά και στα ελληνικά.
Ως Toastmasters International, εφαρμόζουμε ηγετικές ικανότητες μέσω της εθελοντικής μας προσφοράς προς τους Toastmasters και την τοπική κοινωνία.
Public Speaking
Public Speaking is the #1 Fear of people. Over 100 years ago, a teacher named Ralph Smedley decided to help his students overcome this fear and learn as young gentlemen to give a toast. The first Toastmasters Club was born. Years later Toastmasters organization has clubs all over the world where women and men learn how to use the language and lead in a profound and sufficient manner! You see a Toastmaster? You see Respect Integrity Service Excellence. The four values that embrace everything we do!
Soft Skills in Hidden Places
During our meetings, we have some supportive roles. These roles help us learn more. Timer improves our time management skills. A ha counter listens and thus learns all about filler words. You definitely learn how to use a PAUSE in our club!
Grammarian/ word master teaches us all about how we use the language and bring to the table a more sophisticated term long forgotten. Evaluators embrace our educational experience learning how to observe and find ways to improve giving an evaluation based on genuine respect in a respectful way.
We are all volunteers!
